Following The Footsteps of Life: Where Have You Been?

Where has your life taken you?

Where has your life taken you?

Our first snow in Boise came today and as I walked up to the office door and looked back at the parking lot, I thought about the foot prints and how one can never really fake their life. The place our feet have walked tells more about who we are that any amount of words that could ever be used to describe our personality.

For example; there have been many devoted people in life but if you say Mother Teresa or Gandhi you get a whole new picture of devotion. The most beneficial approach to taking a look at where you have been is through the eyes of accountability. Through the eyes of a forgiving soul that is willing to look at the past a perfect method to learn your life lessons.

A phrase I use often in my classes is, “You never deserved all the negative things that came in your life but at some level you asked for it.”

I have a basic belief that the energy of the Universe that we live in was organized in a way that everything has a purpose. And I mean everything – because God is a God of Mistakes or Miracles.

Finding Your Life Purpose: Creating Passion In Life

Finding Your Life Purpose

Finding Your Life Purpose

As I was thinking about my first client of the day today I thought about how exciting it is to have someone find their life purpose and how they spend their life energy to accomplish their ultimate desire.

That inner peace that comes when a person finds that inner truth. That inner truth that helps them find their greatest joy and more importantly how to live life in a way that consistent passion comes out.

It truly is about the passion of life that creates success. But if the passion or love of life is dim then our effort will also be dim. Many people give an extra push to accomplish success but many times the effort is short lived because the passion dies out or becomes hopeless.

If you have tried your best to accomplish greatness and find yourself coming up short or wanting more then you received; you are not alone. In fact most research says the vast majority of people are not completely happy with their lives.

And then there are many people that haven’t even tried to accomplish greatness because of the fear that dwells deep inside like an unquenchable fire that is always consuming our ability to accomplish greatness.

Live To Your Potential And You Will Prosper

Live To Your Potential And Prosper

Live To Your Potential And Prosper

Economic fears got you in a Fight, Flight, or Freeze position?

As I was sitting in my office today a past client and dear friend came by. She came from across the country to do some business in town and felt she just needed to stop by to say hi.

Let me give you a little back ground on this wonderful woman. She is a power house in the world of media. She came with a word of encouragement and perseverance because of the national financial position we have found ourselves in.

She was talking about how the next 5 years the price of oil would become outrageous and jobs would become almost nonexistent. But her message was not doom and gloom it was one of positive change. (Boy did she take on her life strategy training)

In fact with her constant high energy, she was consistently giving ways to look at life through in a positive way. She was not falling into a free fall of despair of not knowing what is going to take place in the future.

Overcoming Fear: Living Life With Passion

Overcoming Fear

Overcoming Fear

Fear is one of the world’s greatest emotions to deal with. It is also one of the hardest to overcome. Fear is a tool that can keep us safe but also an emotion that can hold us back from success or happiness. Fear is commonly that emotion that causes us not to speak up or be heard, to not respond in a time of need, and more importantly to not take action on something that would ultimately benefit us.

I have been coaching people my whole life at one level or another and when I started helping people for an income my life started taking on a whole new meaning. I really started to see the inner workings of humanity. Those inner quirks that don’t seem to make sense at a conscious level but are still playing out in a way that are creating consistent challenging outcomes.

When fear is the dominate motivator the emotion of love or real passion can never run the show. And the feeling of passion is so powerful, like you love football, you love good music, or you love your children.

When passion is involved, as seen in loving something or someone, fear is very rarely present. In fact fear is the absence of love. When passion takes over the fear leaves.

Life Lessons: You Always Get What You Give

The lessons of a Lemonade Stand

The lessons of a Lemonade Stand

On this first day of December and after a great Thanksgiving Holiday I hope I can keep this peaceful feeling I am having throughout the rest of my life.

The reason I am in an extra sensitive mood is I just came back from my Aunt Jenny’s funeral. And what a wonderful 85 years she lived.

One of the greatest points of inspiration that came to me through the funeral service is how her 6 adult children felt that they were their “momma’s” favorite child.

And I must admit I feel like I am her favorite nephew. You see it was something like this; she would stop whatever she was doing, look you in the eye, listen closely, and then respond with some positive words about having more faith in yourself or in God. She always had a calming voice and a pleasant smile that would cause you to know you were the most important thing at that very moment.

As a youth, it was a common practice in my mother’s family to pass around the cousins in the summer months to get to know each other and to learn about life through others life experiences.
